Save the Date: Halloween Parade Returns to Glen Rock

Glen Rock families can mark their calendars for the Halloween Parade on Sunday, October 26. The event is organized by Glen Rock WICS and will once again bring costumes, candy, and community spirit to town.

At the Borough Council Work Session on August 27, 2025, council members approved the use of borough funds for police coverage at the parade. The cost will be either $780 or $1,040, depending on whether Ridgewood emergency services participate and provide one officer. This amount is specifically to cover the Glen Rock police officers who supervise and ensure safety during the parade. The expense had already been budgeted earlier this year, so it will be paid through existing borough tax allocations without any additional spending.
